All files are linked to the main configuration file.

For example, goto directory mz320/cfg and type
esp-r -file mz320.cfg

This will start up ESP-r's Project Manager and load the model. All the geometry, databases, climate, constructions etc can be interrogated from there.

The directory structure for each model follows the following outline (although it is better to access all the information through ESP-r's Project Manager):

dbs: contains databases including ascii format versions

zones: contains zone files: geometry in *.geo; construction in *.con, optical properties in *.tmc; *.shd for shading files; *.htc for convection coefficients; *.opr for operations - infiltration, internal gains etc.

ctl: contains control file for controlling heating/cooling setpoints

cfg: contains *.cfg top level configuration file and connections file (*.cnn, which details links between zones).
